A.I. Momentum

From using AI to building agents, automations and AI products

A.I. Momentum course cover

A twelve week accelerator for people who want AI to do the work, not just help with it. You move from prompting to systems: retrieval augmented generation, agent design, tool calling, evaluation, and production automation. Half the program is generalist track work on business automation, the other half is engineering track work on APIs, agents and deployment. You ship four production grade systems.

Who this course is for

  • Professionals who already use AI daily and want to automate whole processes
  • Operations, revenue and product leaders building internal AI systems
  • Developers and analysts moving into AI engineering
  • Consultants and agency owners productising their service into an AI offering
  • Founders who want to ship an AI product without hiring a full team first

What you will learn

  • Design agentic systems: planning, tool calling, memory, and human in the loop control
  • Build retrieval augmented generation over your own documents with real chunking and reranking
  • Work directly with model APIs, structured outputs, function calling and streaming
  • Orchestrate multi agent workflows and know when a single prompt is the better answer
  • Automate end to end business processes across CRM, billing, support and reporting
  • Evaluate models properly with test sets, scoring rubrics and regression checks
  • Control cost, latency, rate limits and failure modes in production
  • Ship and monitor a live system with logging, tracing and alerts
  • Package what you build into a sellable offer or an internal business case

Curriculum

01From prompts to systems

Weeks 1 to 2
  • · Advanced prompting: chain of thought, meta prompting, self consistency
  • · Structured outputs and JSON schemas you can trust downstream
  • · Working with model APIs, tokens, context windows and streaming
  • · Version control for prompts and why it matters

02Retrieval augmented generation done properly

Weeks 3 to 4
  • · Chunking strategies, embeddings and vector stores
  • · Hybrid search, reranking and citation grounding
  • · Handling tables, PDFs, images and messy enterprise documents
  • · Measuring retrieval quality before you blame the model

03Agents and tool calling

Weeks 5 to 6
  • · Agent anatomy: planner, executor, memory and tools
  • · Function calling against real APIs and databases
  • · Multi agent patterns and when they are overkill
  • · Guardrails, approvals and human in the loop checkpoints

04Business process automation at scale

Weeks 7 to 8
  • · Mapping a full process before automating a single step
  • · Support triage, lead qualification, invoice handling and reporting
  • · Long running workflows, queues and retries
  • · Handover design so humans stay in control

05Evaluation, cost and reliability

Weeks 9 to 10
  • · Building golden test sets and scoring rubrics
  • · Regression testing prompts and agents on every change
  • · Caching, model routing and cost control
  • · Tracing, logging and alerting in production

06Ship it

Weeks 11 to 12
  • · Deploying a full stack AI application
  • · Auth, roles, rate limits and abuse protection
  • · Pricing and packaging what you built
  • · Demo day with written architecture and business case

What you will build

  1. 1.A document intelligence assistant with retrieval and citations over your own corpus
  2. 2.An agent that reads your CRM, decides, and acts with approval gates
  3. 3.An end to end automated business process replacing a weekly manual routine
  4. 4.A deployed AI application with auth, logging and cost controls
  5. 5.An evaluation suite that catches regressions before your users do

Questions people ask

How much coding is involved?

Enough to be dangerous, taught from scratch. Roughly half the cohort arrives non technical and ships anyway, using AI coding assistants under mentor review.

How much time per week?

Plan for 8 to 10 hours: two live sessions plus build time. The people who ship best treat it like a real project.

Do I need my own company data?

Helpful but not required. We provide realistic datasets and sandbox systems for every build.
